  La presente comunicación centra el foco en una serie de episodios acontecidos recientemente en relación con la representación del pecho femenino ante el público, la cual ha sido censurada en cierta medida en algunas redes sociales. Con el objetivo de entender dichas reacciones de censura, se expone un breve recorrido a lo largo de la historia del arte con la intención de entender y encontrar el sentido de cuál es el motivo que lleva a continuar, en pleno siglo XXI, teniendo pudor ante la visibilidad de la representación del pecho materno al desnudo

  This communication focuses on a series of episodes that have recently occurred in relation to the representation of the female breast before the public, which has been censored to a certain extent in some social networks. With the aim of understanding these censorship reactions, a brief journey through the history of art is presented with the intention of understanding and finding the meaning of what is the reason that leads to continue, in the XXI century, having modesty before the visibility of the representation of the naked maternal breast.
