    Esta indagación resitúa algunos tránsitos (movimientos, rutas, circulaciones) de las imágenes referentes del siglo XX presentes en el libro de texto de enseñanza de historia de tercer año de educación secundaria pública en Chile. Este artículo se centra en dos de los aspectos emergidos a partir de las conversaciones con los docentes de un liceo de la capital y con los editores del libro; el concepto de higienización de los cuerpos y de régimen de significación. Aproximándonos a comprender que las imágenes se ofrecen en el libro con sentidos jerarquizados de antemano, previo a su encuentro con los actores. Sin embargo, este artículo invita a pensar entre imágenes como dispositivos de potencialidades diversas. El abordaje indagatorio cualitativo de esta investigación es un estudio de caso de corte etnográfico.

    This enquiry resituates some transits (movements, routes, circulations) of the images referring to the 20th century present in the history textbook for the third year of public secondary education in Chile. This article focuses on two of the aspects that emerged from conversations with teachers at a high school in the capital and with the book’s editors: the concept of hygienisation of bodies and regime of signification. We come close to understanding that the images are offered in the book with hierarchical meanings beforehand, prior to their encounter with the actors. However, this article invites us to think between images as devices with diverse potentialities. The qualitative inquiry approach of this research is an ethnographic case study.
