  • Resumen
    • A significant and remarkable progress in the field of New Technologies has taken place over the past years while their contribution to the change of the educational scene is catalytic. Besides, Special Education could not be intact by this change. Given the grounds of an extended discussion upon equal opportunities in learning and in the integration of students with Special Educational Needs into regular schools, the question how New Technologies, within a democratic and humanistic framework, can be fruitfully utilized by all participants in the educational procedure is being examined. This way barriers and impediments hindering access of students with Special Educational Needs to knowledge and information can be eliminated, supporting, by extension, their integration into the social web and their participation in the productive procedure.
