    El estudio del lenguaje es fundamental para entender la comunicación humana y la estructura del pensamiento. A pesar de las investigaciones existentes, hay vacíos significativos en el conocimiento que requieren nuevas rutas investigativas. Este estudio busca explorar estas rutas mediante un enfoque cualitativo, utilizando la teoría fundamentada y el análisis documental para identificar tendencias actuales. El diseño metodológico, se basó en la teoría fundamentada para desarrollar teorías a partir de datos empíricos, así como la aplicación del análisis documental como fuente principal de datos, en consecuencia, se usó la codificación abierta y la codificación axial para identificar y conectar conceptos emergentes. El resultado del análisis mixto permitió destacar la emergencia de tendencias innovadoras que integran enfoques interdisciplinares y perspectivas culturales y tecnológicas. Se propone, asimismo, un marco más holístico que contemple no solo las estructuras lingüísticas, sino también su interacción con factores sociales y tecnológicos. Este estudio concluye que es necesario expandir las fronteras de los estudios del lenguaje a través de nuevas rutas investigativas que se están implementando recientemente, lo cual está guiando las futuras investigaciones con el fin de lograr un entendimiento más integrado y multifacético del lenguaje. Las perspectivas futuras sugieren la incorporación de métodos innovadores y enfoques interdisciplinares para asegurar la evolución del campo ante los desafíos contemporáneos.

    The study of language is fundamental to understanding human communication and the structure of thought. Despite existing research, there are significant gaps in knowledge that require new investigative pathways. This study seeks to explore these pathways through a qualitative approach, utilizing grounded theory and document analysis to identify current trends. The methodological design was based on grounded theory to develop theories from empirical data, as well as the application of document analysis as the primary source of data; consequently, open coding and axial coding were used to identify and connect emerging concepts. The result of the mixed analysis highlighted the emergence of innovative trends that integrate interdisciplinary approaches and cultural and technological perspectives. A more holistic framework is also proposed, which considers not only linguistic structures but also their interaction with social and technological factors. This study concludes that it is necessary to expand the boundaries of language studies through new investigative pathways that are being recently implemented, guiding future research in order to achieve a more integrated and multifaceted understanding of language. Future perspectives suggest the incorporation of innovative methods and interdisciplinary approaches to ensure the evolution of the field in response to contemporary challenges.
