Gênero e neopentecostalismo: um olhar a partir do projeto Godllywood

    This study aims at revealing dynamics built from the sacred to the genre. In order to achieve this goal, we got into the universe of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (UCKG) through the project called Godllywood, developed by this church, aimed at faithful women. The study was based on theoretical research on scientific production that addresses the interrelation between gender and religion, besides existing documentary research in the virtual channel of the project. Datacollection was conducted with the gathering of some information on the challenges presented by the leader of the project to female readers. The dichotomy established between evangelical traditionalism and the acceptance of new values of the current society exemplifies the project presented.

    É objeto do presente estudo desvelar a dinâmica das relações que são construídas a partir do sagrado para com o gênero e, para tanto, adentraremos no universo da Igreja Universal do Reino de Deus (IURD), através de seu projeto para as mulheres fiéis, denominado Godllywood. Por meio de pesquisa teórica sobre a produção científica que aborda a inter-relação gênero e religião, e de pesquisa documental no canal virtual do projeto, coletamos informações sobre os desafios lançados pela líder iurdiana às suas leitoras. A dicotomia estabelecida entre o tradicionalismo evangélico e a aceitação dos novos valores da sociedade se exemplifica no projeto apresentado.
