Narrativas y experiencias de estudiantes universitarios durante la pandemia COVID-19

    Ante la pandemia COVID-19 las instituciones educativas en México tuvieron que cerrar las aulas para atender las medidas de salud que en su momento estableció el Gobierno Federal. Este cierre de aulas ha tenido una serie de repercusiones económicas, educativas y sociales. Consideramos que este fenómeno requiere de mayor tiempo para deconstruir lo vivido, reflexionar la experiencia y la forma de ser-estar en el mundo. Desde este contexto, desarrollamos un estudio cualitativo que tiene como propósito: indagar, a través de la narrativa de los estudiantes universitarios, las experiencias vividas ante el confinamiento preventivo obligatorio por la pandemia COVID-19. El estudio se focaliza en los estudiantes de la Facultad de Pedagogía, Universidad Veracruzana región Poza Rica-Tuxpan de las generaciones 2018 y 2019 quienes vivieron su formación presencial y en línea. Se han considerado dos etapas, la primera de febrero 2022-mayo 2024 que abarcó el trabajo de campo, la segunda, mayo 2024- enero 2025 para la integración de la información. En este momento, presentamos los avances de la investigación respecto a: la metodología empleada basada en la narrativa de experiencias, el trabajo de campo, y algunos hallazgos respecto a las preguntas planteadas en el estudio: ¿cómo fue la experiencia vivida por los estudiantes para afrontar la pandemia?, ¿qué significados construyeron los jóvenes universitarios sobre el confinamiento obligatorio, la pandemia, la familia, la formación profesional, el aprendizaje en casa?, ¿qué tipo de emociones se despertaron al vivir el confinamiento en casa?, ¿cómo vivieron su formación profesional desde casa y desde la virtualidad?, entre otras. Creemos que la narrativa de las experiencias de los estudiantes devela aspectos interesantes que nos permiten repensar al currículum, la formación, las TIC, las formas de interactuar dentro y fuera de los espacios académicos, y, sobre todo a repensar el acto de educar.

    In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, educational institutions in Mexico had to close classrooms to comply with the health measures established by the Federal Government. This closure of classrooms has had a series of economic, educational and social repercussions. We believe that this phenomenon requires more time to deconstruct what has been experienced, reflect on the experience and the way of being-existing in the world. From this context, we developed a qualitative study that aims to investigate, through the narrative of university students, the experiences lived in the face of mandatory preventive confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The study focuses on students from the Faculty of Pedagogy, Universidad Veracruzana, Poza Rica-Tuxpan region, from the 2018 and 2019 generations who lived their training in person and online. Two stages have been considered, the first from February 2022-May 2024, which covered the field work, the second, May 2024-January 2025, for the integration of information. At this time, we present the progress of the research regarding: the methodology used based on the narrative of experiences, the field work, and some findings regarding the questions posed in the study: How was the experience lived by the students to face the pandemic? What meanings did young university students construct about mandatory confinement, the pandemic, family, vocational training, learning at home? What kind of emotions were awakened by living confinement at home? How did they live their vocational training from home and from virtuality?, among others. We believe that the narrative of the students' experiences reveals interesting aspects that allow us to rethink the curriculum, training, ICT, the ways of interacting inside and outside academic spaces, and, above all, to rethink the act of educating.
