This study on biodiversity aims to recognize and understand the current crisis regarding the conservation and preservation of biodiversity in strategic ecosystems and how, through environmental education, changes in thoughts can be generated from being and doing, the importance of human perceptions and experiences in the definition and valuation of these ecosystems for their conservation; In this way, we seek to understand how human interactions with nature influence the perception and valuation of biodiversity; analyze state policies, approaches, guidelines and concrete actions that require intersectoral and regional coordination to reduce the pressure and impact of biodiversity and ecosystem services, and how strategies oriented towards agricultural reconversion programs payments for environmental services are promoted educational programs and investigative and citizen participation in environmental management processes, To address this study, the following conceptual categories were identified: Analysis of the biodiversity crisis, Analysis of the crisis of strategic ecosystems and reflective analysis on environmental education and culture; perspective for change. It was carried out from the documentary analysis of research, doctoral thesis studies and documents on state policies regarding the topics addressed. This study presents a reflection on public policies, human actions, community participation, collaboration with local entities, education and awareness about the importance of biodiversity and environmental protection to rethink joint actions against raising awareness in environmental protection. atmospherer.
