Las mujeres impresoras de la región centro del estado de Veracruz de finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX

    En este trabajo se realiza un recorrido por dos imprentas pertenecientes a la región central del estado de Veracruz que se encontraron activas a finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX. Asimismo se rescata el papel que desempeñaron las mujeres que se convirtieron en dirigentes de estos centros, también llamadas mujeres impresoras. Al lado de lo expuesto, se hace hincapié en las particularidades que atañen a cada imprenta mencionada, la primera bajo la jefatura de Aurora O. de Hernández, localizada en Alvarado, y la segunda bajo la dirigencia de Joaquín y Lucila Rodríguez Rivera, ubicada en Xalapa, ambas en el estado de Veracruz.

    In this work, a tour is made of two printing presses belonging to the Central region of the State of Veracruz, which were active in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It also describes the role played by the women who became leaders of these centers, also called women printers. In addition to the above, emphasis is placed on the particularities of each printing house mentioned, the first one under the leadership of Aurora O. de Hernández, located in Alvarado, and the second one under the leadership of Joaquín and Lucila Rodríguez Rivera, located in Xalapa, both in the State of Veracruz.
