    Este artículo aborda el estudio de los trabajadores menores en escuelas en el municipio de Villavicencio, Colombia. La investigación se centra en el impacto del trabajo infantil en el rendimiento académico y el desarrollo educativo. El estudio utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, utilizando encuestas para recopilar datos. El análisis encontró que los estudiantes a menudo abandonan su educación para contribuir financieramente a sus familias. Sin embargo, aún tienen interés en continuar su educación, pero la desigualdad social representa una barrera. El artículo enfatiza la necesidad de abordar el trabajo infantil y apoyar el desarrollo integral de los niños. Además, se encontró que una parte significativa de los estudiantes trabaja para ayudar a la familia, costear sus estudios o generar ingresos propios. Se destaca la importancia de desarrollar estrategias y proyectos científicos para abordar esta problemática y promover la transformación social.

    This article addresses the study of underage workers in schools in the municipality of Villavicencio, Colombia. The research focuses on the impact of child labor on academic performance and educational development. The study employed a quantitative approach, using surveys to collect data. The analysis found that students often drop out of their education to contribute financially to their families. However, they still have an interest in continuing their education, but social inequality presents a barrier. The article emphasizes the need to address child labor and support the holistic development of children. Additionally, it was found that a significant portion of students work to help their family, afford their studies, or generate their own income. The importance of developing strategies and scientific projects to address this issue and promote social transformation is highlighted.
