  • Resumen
    • The mobile revolution is finally here. Wherever one looks, the evidence of mobile penetration and adoption is irrefutable: smartphones, IPads, IPhones, tablets abound. No human being is immune from this phenomenon. People are increasingly connected and are digitally communicating with each other in ways that would have been impossible to imagine only a few years ago.

On the other hand, Edmodo is a free and safe virtual learning environment, helping students and teachers connect and collaborate outside the face-to-face learning time, which makes it an ideal tool to be explored and adopted by teachers of English. Our case study will reflect on how students feel when using the Edmodo App feature as a tool for improving their English. Written productions, speaking and listening contributions, which would be otherwise rather difficult to process and assess in real time, are accommodated by the platform and contribute to a finer assessment process. The outcomes and qualitative results of employing Edmodo App group of students of English will be presented.
