SE PRESENTA UN ESTUDIO COMPARATIVO DE LAS NOTICIAS PUBLICADAS DURANTE LA GUERRA DE LAS MALVINAS EN CUATRO PERIODICOS DE CALIDAD, DOS INGLESES Y DOS ESPAÑOLES (LA VANGUARDIA, EL PAIS, THE TIMES, THE GUARDIAN). EL OBJETIVO DEL ESTUDIO ES DETERMINAR HASTA QUE PUNTO SE DIFERENCIAN CADA UNO DE LOS PERIODICOS EN SU VISION DEL DESARROLLO DE LOS ACONTECIMIENTOS. A TRAVES DE UN ANALISIS DETALLADO DE LA VISION PRESENTADA POR UN PERIODICO - LA VANGUARDIA - SE DETERMINA EN QUE MEDIDA ESTA VISION SE DEBE A LOS RESULTADOS DE LOS PROCESOS DE TRADUCCION E INTERPRETACION LLEVADOS A CABO AL REPRESENTAR DICHOS ACONTECIMIENTOS DESDE UNA PERSPECTIVA SOCIO-CULTURAL E HISTORICO DETERMINADA.
