The research is conducted for single-family social housing in the city of Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico, taking into account different general or simplified procedures applied at the energy certification of new housing, focusing and prioritizing the example in the methodology applied in Spain; since in the study area there is only a methodology for energy certification of newly built housing. lt also relies on new technologies and energy simulation computer programs currently used for analyzing energy buildings, in order to achieve and obtain methodological support for the building in the city of Saltillo in the state of Coahuila, Mexico. Researching certifications energy used in Spain , which determines the Ministry of lndustry, Energy and Tourism through the Secretary of State for Energy, supported by analysis of the recognized procedures as required in building new buildings performed construction and energy efficiency certification that is used at the level of single/ detached houses, to establish an own methodological alternative procedure for the case study. The creation of an alternative procedure to guide the building of single-family social housing are useful; to project, design and construction of a house, still better if it benefits us to make an energy-friendly construction environment. This thes is is related to Energy Efficiency and Energy Certification, definitions, decrees and regulations that relate to research existing in Spain and Mexico; lt also defines what is a label for building energy efficiency, and different procedures used in the energy certification of the building and the computer software that are mandatory and alternative for certification of energy efficiency analysis in the building. A summary of the report obtained as a final result of each of the procedures, corresponding to energy efficiency label result is presented. A complete analysis using thermal dynamic simulation in one of the most advanced software currently DesignBuilder tool to control the power state of the building showing the "real" behavior of the house is developed. In each you can see the final results obtained, and the difference in values; these are analyzed and compared between different procedures, which is more rigorous in its results and which of them perform better. A proposed alternative procedure is developed for an Energy Calculation for Social Housing, which is established as an own energy rating which a model energy rating label is obtained. The alternative proposal establishes a rating scale for the VIS, through the analysis of improvements to the envelope of two initial conditions in research, mathematical formulas and units of the proposed alternative method for establishing an Energy Calculation demands for heating, cooling and carbon dioxide emissions and proposed a model of rating label set.
