In this PhD Thesis, sustainable analytical methodologies have been developed for the analysis of a wide range of endocrine disrupting compounds, including pesticides, phthalic acid esters, bisphenols, alkylphenols, and alkylphenol ethoxylates, in agri-food and environmental samples. For this purpose, sorbent-based extraction techniques, such as matrix solid-phase dispersion and magnetic-micro-dispersive solid-phase extraction using metal-organic frameworks and functionalised nanoparticles, as well as liquid-based extraction techniques, such as solid-liquid extraction and liquid-liquid microextraction using natural deep eutectic solvents, along with the QuEChERS method, have been successfully performed. These extraction and clean-up procedures have been combined with ultra-high performance liquid chromatography and gas chromatography techniques coupled to mass spectrometry systems for the separation and determination of the compounds of interest.
