  • Resumen
    • Gaudí is a representative architect in the Art Nouveau period of Spain and has a very important position in the history of architectural development. His design, which combines nature and touches the human heart, has been passed down for hundreds of years and is not lost today. His style and design philosophy have had a profound influence on later generations. With the rapid development of science and technology, there are a number of outstanding architects and architectural works in China, which show the strength and unstoppable development trend of China's contemporary architectural design. However, this is not the development status quo of Chinese cities and countries as a whole. China's buildings are also unbalanced in value judgment while being constructed at a high speed. Cultural aphasia, neglect of the natural ecological environment, constraints under the background of rapid urbanization and other situations that cannot be ignored need to be solved. Therefore, the main design concepts of Gaudí are extracted from his naturalistic architectural works: architectural aesthetics, regionalism, integration of nature, structural principles and comprehensive disciplines, architectural implications and sustainability. Based on this, the study of Gaudí's influence on Chinese contemporary architects and architectural design and its development is of guiding practical significance. According to the available materials, there are abundant studies on Gaudí and Chinese contemporary architectural design, but there are insufficient materials to link them together for derivation. In view of this, the study of Gaudí's naturalistic architecture on Chinese contemporary architectural design aims to supplement the research gap and has good research value. The paper uses the survey research method, literature review method, image analysis method, empirical research method, case analysis method, comparative analysis method, and summary induction method as the research methods to find the basis for influence. Then, the analysis is carried out from three main parts: First, the analysis of Gaudí's influence on Chinese contemporary architectural designers, the extraction of key words, the analysis of the architect's learning and work experience, design ideas and design works characteristics. Secondly, it analyzes Gaudí's influence on Chinese contemporary architectural design works, extracts key words, and analyzes the project background and scheme design characteristics of architectural works. Finally, it deduces Gaudí's influence and enlightenment on the future development direction of Chinese architectural design. The study found that Gaudí has a direct and indirect impact on contemporary Chinese architecture, and has important implications for the future development of Chinese architectural design. Gaudí has obvious influence on contemporary Chinese architects, such as Ma Yansong's "landscape architecture", which was influenced by Gaudí in terms of naturalism, curves, architectural meaning, etc., and played a guiding role in the development of contemporary Chinese architectural design; Li Xinggang's "Architecture is Man-made Nature" was influenced by naturalism, bionics, the unity of structure and art, light and shadow design, etc., and gave lectures to share Gaudí's design ideas with young scholars; Li Xiaodong's "Local and Sustainable Architecture" combines the influence of sustainability, regionality and architectural meaning with the characteristics of China's local natural environment. There are also Liu Jiakun's "traditional sense of reality", Wang Shu's "regional architecture", Wen Zixian's "architectural fables" and so on. In addition, Gaudí also has a direct and indirect impact on contemporary Chinese architectural design practice, Masfil Headquarters Building, Chihiro's Huaguo Mountain and other architectural projects intuitively pay tribute to Gaudí, Harbin Grand Theater, Meixi Lake International Culture and Art Center, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University Administrative Information Building, Fuzhou Strait Culture and Art Center, Wenchuan Botanical Garden, Jinzhou Ceramic Museum Park, Suzhou Museum, Pudong International Airport T2 Terminal, Dandelion Vanke, Liyuan Library, etc., combined with the evolution of Chinese cultural connotation under the influence of Gaudí. Finally, through the integration of regional architecture in the natural environment, the expression of traditional cultural connotations in contemporary architectural language, the time cost of architects, and the creation of a sustainable future of architecture, Gaudí's influence and enlightenment role in the future development of Chinese architectural design are deduced. It is expected to provide valuable theoretical significance for the development of current and future architectural designers and architectural design works in China into more connotative, creative, sustainable and integrated regional natural characteristics of Chinese architecture that is more in line with the characteristics of the times and Chinese characteristics.
