In this thesis we focus on analyzing the overlaps between the logic of patriarchal capitalism, the rhetoric of colonial modernity and the onto-epistemology that has given support, both on a theoretical and methodological level, to what we have called modern science. ; For this, the accent is fundamentally placed on the study of the overlaps that we have already indicated, which will allow us to reveal, understand and expose the conditions, forms and mechanisms –subjectives and objectives– created, developed and consolidated by the Totality of the modern / colonial / capitalist / patriarchal world-system in its process and search to intensify the formal and real subsumption of the academic subject, in its discourses and praxis; subject that is explored for the specific case of social science researchers belonging to the National Research System (SNI) who carry out their teaching and research work in one of the Higher Education Institutions (IES), both public and private, located in the State of Puebla in the period 2010-2020.
The above constitutes our fundamental objective, and to achieve such study goal, the thesis will emphasize both quantitative and qualitative analysis, resorting to a diversity of authors and quantitative and qualitative information; It should be noted that this thesis does not seek to start from a homogeneous reflection of authors and thinkers, but rather what it has sought is to start, as much as possible, from heterogeneity and from there to build approaches that try to break from onto-epistemology with the postulates of the universal.
