    La presente investigación surgió con la finalidad de conocer la problemática y establecer una solución, la cual tuvo como principal objetivo el determinar la relación entre Role play y expresión oral del idioma inglés en estudiantes de educación superior. Se desarrolló una metodología de tipo aplicada, con enfoque cuantitativo, de diseño no experimental correlacional transversal, el cual tuvo como población y muestra a 250 estudiantes de educación superior, a los cuales se les aplicó como técnica una encuesta mediante el cuestionario como instrumento para poder conocer los niveles de las variables Role play y Expresión oral, así mismo se midió la confiabilidad de ambos instrumentos estableciendo valores de alfa de Cronbach de 0.969 y 0.878 para Role Play y Expresión Oral respectivamente, tras el posterior análisis en base a los resultados se pudo concluir de manera general que según el valor Tau_b de Kendall de 0.459 se señala una correlación positiva significativa. Así mismo bajo el valor de significancia de 0.000<0.05 se refuerza los valores, Rechazando así la hipótesis nula y aceptando la alterna la cual menciona que Existe relación significativa entre el Role Play y la expresión oral del idioma inglés en estudiantes de educación superior.

    The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between Role play and oral expression of the English language in higher education students. An applied methodology was developed, with a quantitative approach, with a transversal non-experimental correlational design, which had as population and sample 250 higher education students, to whom a survey was applied as a technique through a questionnaire as an instrument to know the levels of the variables Role play and oral expression, likewise the reliability of both instruments was measured, establishing Cronbach’s alpha values of 0. 969 and 0.878 for Role Play and Oral Expression respectively, after the subsequent analysis based on the results it was possible to conclude in general that according to Kendall's Tau_b value of 0.459 there is a significant positive correlation. Likewise, under the significance value of 0.000<0.05 the values are reinforced, thus rejecting the null hypothesis and accepting the alternative hypothesis which mentions that there is a significant relationship between Role Play and oral expression of the English language in higher education students.
