La educación a distancia virtual es un campo amplio que se ha transformado con la incursión de nuevos medios y está siendo investigado para comprender diferentes fenómenos que están inmersos en él. En este sentido, la investigación centró su atención en una de las problemáticas que ocurren en los cursos de matemáticas que se desarrollan en el contexto de la Unidad de virtualidad Ude@ de la Universidad de Antioquia, abordando la pregunta: ¿Cómo interactúa un colectivo de humanos–con–medios en educación a distancia virtual para producir conocimiento matemático? El objetivo fue analizar las interacciones de un colectivo de humanos–con–medios en un curso de cálculo integral en educación a distancia virtual, que permitió la producción de conocimiento matemático. Con los resultados del proceso investigativo realizado a través de un enfoque cualitativo empleando el método de Teoría Fundamentada, se pretende realizar aportes teóricos en este contexto, consolidando categorías que describen el fenómeno de la interacción en este tipo de cursos, y que por tanto, permiten dar respuesta a la pregunta de investigación y contribuciones que pueden ser empleadas en cursos de matemáticas que se imparten en esta modalidad educativa.

Online Distance Education is a broad field that has been transformed with the incursion of new media and is being investigated to understand different phenomena that are immersed in it. In this sense, this research focused its attention on one of the problems that occur in the mathematics courses that are developed in the context of the Ude @ Virtuality Unit of the University of Antioquia, addressing the question: How does a collective of Human-with-means interact in online distance education to produce mathematical knowledge? The objective was to analyze the interactions of a group of human-with-means in an integral calculus course in virtual distance education, which allowed the production of mathematical knowledge. With the results of the investigative process carried out through a qualitative approach using the method of Grounded Theory, it is intended to make theoretical contributions in this context, consolidating categories that describe the phenomenon of interaction in this type of courses, and therefore, allow Answer the question of research and contributions that can be used in math courses taught in this type of education.
