“Estética de Modernismo latinoamericano en el periodismo cultural transatlántico (1865- 1895)”, buscó en la obra crítica de los Modernistas Latinoamericanos en su primera etapa suscrita en su periodismo cultural, identificar los postulados de un umbral estético modernista con la finalidad de dilucidar y justipreciar su pensamiento dialógico con Occidente entre 1865–1895. Después de una ardua revisión archivística de alrededor de 15.000 materiales constituyó un corpus de 750 textos con criterios estéticos y ubicación hemerográfica los cuales fueron consultados de las publicaciones originales. A este corpus, el cual tenía un empréstito entre la información y el conocimiento por la tensión entre prensa doctrinaria e informativa que se sentía en la época, se le realizó un análisis teórico el cual ofreció los insumos para la caracterización y descripción del pensamiento estético de la primera etapa del Modernismo latinoamericano. Este trató cuatro nodos conceptuales, como la teoría de la cultura, la teoría social del arte, la teoría de la recepción artística y teoría de la creación artística, dando como resultado una organización conceptual teórico-descriptiva del pensamiento estético-crítico Modernista. "Aesthetics of Latin American Modernism in transatlantic cultural journalism (1865-1895)", sought in the critical work of the Latin American Modernists in their first stage subscribed in their cultural journalism, to identify the postulates of a modernist aesthetic threshold with the purpose of elucidate and assess his dialogical thought with the Occident between 1865-1895.
After an arduous archival review of around 15,000 materials, a corpus of 750 texts was constituted with aesthetic criteria and hemerographic location, which were consulted from the original publications. A theoretical analysis was carried out on this corpus, which had a loan between information and knowledge due to the tension between the doctrinal and informative press that was felt at the time, which offered the inputs for the characterization and description of thought aesthetic of the first stage of Latin American Modernism. This dealt with four conceptual nodes, such as the theory of culture, the social theory of art, the theory of artistic reception and the theory of artistic creation, resulting in a theoretical-descriptive conceptual organization of Modernist aesthetic-critical thought.
