Esta investigación doctoral se pregunta por cómo en medio del maltrato ambiental y social, el río Tunjuelo y distintos actores del sur de Bogotá viven juntos. Así, desde la interfaz de los estudios sociales de la ciencia, el feminismo, la etnografía de prácticas y multiespecie y la pedagogía crítica emprendo como maestra, habitante e investigadora una serie de recorridos etnográficos por las prácticas institucionales y comunitarias que caracterizan la convivencia con el Tunjuelo, estas son: prácticas pedagógicas, de producción de agua, de apropiación territorial y corporal de la cuenca, de querer y de cuidados del Tunjuelo.
En estas prácticas encuentro que entre el río Tunjuelo y actores más que humanos emergen afectos que hacen que el Tunjuelo sea más que un río maltratado y que los humanos seamos más que agentes que dañan. Puesto que, en el vivir cotidiano del sur de Bogotá se tejen las materialidades de distintos actores haciendo que el río devenga en múltiples formas como río que es cuenca urbana, ancestral y campesina, como cuenca que integra quebradas, humedales y otros ríos, como río limpio, como caño, como río que es más que agua y como el río que queremos etc. Así mismo, en estas prácticas los humanos también emergen como seres capaces de aprender a conectarse con ríos, plantas, animales y objetos, de comprender los excesos al dominio humano, de convertirse en cuenca, de querer unas identidades particulares del río y de colaborar para cuidar el Tunjuelo.
Así pues, caminar junto con un río maltratado puede enseñarnos que, en medio del daño, la devastación, el dolor y la injusticia se pueden tejer relaciones más que humanas que nos permiten soñar, reconocer y responsabilizarnos en el hacer de mundos y ríos en los que se potencien la vida. En sí, vivir junto a un río maltratado nos puede ayudar a inventar modos cuidadosos de vivir con el Tunjuelo (Texto tomado de la fuente)

This doctoral research asks how, during environmental and social mistreatment, the Tunjuelo River and different actors from the south of Bogotá live together. Thus, from the interface of the social studies of science, feminism, the ethnography of practices and multispecies, and critical pedagogy, I undertake as a teacher, inhabitant, and researcher a series of ethnographic journeys through the institutional and community practices that characterize coexistence with the Tunjuelo, these are: pedagogical practices, water production, territorial and corporal appropriation of the basin, loving and caring for Tunjuelo.
In these practices I find that between the Tunjuelo River and human and more than human actors, affections emerge that make the Tunjuelo more than a mistreated river and that we humans are more than agents that harm. Since, in the daily life of the south of Bogotá, the materialities of different actors are woven, making the river become in multiple forms as a river that is an urban, ancestral and peasant basin, as a basin that integrates streams, wetlands and other rivers, as a river clean, like a pipe, like a river that is more than water and like the river that we love, etc. Likewise, in these practices, humans also emerge as beings capable of learning to connect with more than humans, of understanding the excesses of the human domain, of becoming a basin, of wanting identities of the river and of collaborating to take care of the Tunjuelo.
Thus, walking along with a mistreated river can teach us that, during damage, devastation, pain and injustice, relationships can be woven between humans and more than humans that allow us to dream, recognize and take responsibility for the making of worlds and rivers in which life is enhanced. In other words, living next to a mistreated river can help us invent careful ways of living with the Tunjuelo.
