    El papel del arte y la escultura del siglo XX en Sevilla es interesante por la convivencia de estilos y de artistas que tenían diferentes formas de concebir y plasmar su expresividad de diversas formas. Esto se mantuvo hasta la llegada del movimiento conocido como “neobarroco”, un estilo que pretende recuperar el estilo de antaño, el cual se acoge con una gran admiración hasta la actualidad en la ciudad.

    En ese contexto se encuentra el artista a estudiar en el trabajo de investigación. Persona importante para comprender la Semana Santa actual. Clasificado en su faceta de escultor, pero con una creatividad y habilidad técnica que amplía su producción con la pintura, gracias a las enseñanza de su padre, y el dibujo, destreza que le permitió contribuir a la evolución patrimonial de muchas hermandades.

    The role of 20th century art and sculpture in Seville is interesting due to the coexistence of styles and artists who had different ways of conceiving and capturing their expressiveness in various ways. This was maintained until the arrival of the movement known as "neo baroque", a style that seeks to recover the style of yesteryear, which is received with great admiration in the city to this day.

    In this context is the artist to study in the research work. Important person to understand the current Holy Week. Classified in his facet as a sculptor, but with a creativity and technical ability that expands his production with painting, thanks to his father's teaching, and drawing, a skill that allowed him to contribute to the patrimonial evolution of many brotherhoods.
