El objetivo de este proyecto es conocer las relaciones de colaboración y concurrencia entre las ciudades y las villas en la región de la Extremadura Oriental a finales de la Edad Media. Se aplica el análisis de redes sociales, la proyección territorial de los representantes de las ciudades y otros procedimientos estadísticos. Se ha podido conocer la entidad, la morfología y las funciones de los sistemas urbanos de la zona, especialmente de Segovia y Soria. También se ha evaluado el rol de cada centro urbano, tanto los de realengo, como los de señorío.

The aim of this project is to improve knowledge of the collaborative relationships and the urban competition between cities and towns in the Eastern Estremadura at the end of the Middle Ages. It is based on the application of the Social Network Analysis, the Spatial and Geostatistical Analyst, and others statistical procedures to the urban studies. The scale, the morphology and the functions of the urban sistems of Segovia and Soria have been identified. The project includes the study of the role of each agent both realengo and señorío cities and towns.
