Una aproximación a los residentes chinos en Andalucía. Emprendedores y estudiantes chinos en Sevilla como casos de estudio (2000-2020）

    En los últimos años se ha comprobado un mayor flujo de ingresos de chinos, tanto de los emprendedores como de los estudiantes universitarios en España, sobre todo en el sur de España, la Comunidad Autónoma de Andalucía, por lo que este trabajo presenta el trasfondo histórico y el estado actual de los inmigrantes chinos en Andalucía basándose en las estadísticas oficiales y los datos disponibles de otros estudios existentes destacando los principales datos socio-demográficos, educativos, y laborales que caracterizan a esta población. El desarrollo de la tesis estudia la influencia de las políticas migratorias de la UE y España y los proyectos de modificación de las leyes migratorias nacionales que se van efectuando en los últimos años, además de ulilizar la teoría “pull-push”para analizar los motivos principales de tales grupos de inmigración por los que eligieron Sevilla como su destino . También la investigación se toma Sevilla como caso de estudio para estudiar los rasgos, estructuras y los perfiles comunitarios de los emprendedores chinos y estudiantes en Sevilla, así como averiguar sus dificultades en la integración en la sociedad local. El trabajo tiene como objetivo fundamental revelar el estatus quo de los inmigrantes chinos en Andalucía entre el año 2000 y 2020. A este respecto, se centra en los dos colectivos chinos: los emprendedores chinos y los estudiantes chinos en Sevilla como casos de estudio. Los métodos de la tesis destacan el análisis bibliográfico y documental así como una investigación a campo, es decir, utilizando cuestionarios, efectuado a miembros de la comunidad china residente en Sevilla y los estudiantes chinos en el sistema universitario de Sevilla.

    In recent years there has been a greater flow of Chinese immigrants, both entrepreneurs and university students in Spain, especially in the south of Spain, the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, so this work presents the historical background and the current status of Chinese immigrants in Andalusia based on official statistics and data available from other existing studies highlighting the main socio-demographic, educational, and labor data that characterize this population. The development of the thesis studies the influence of the migratory policies of the EU and Spain and the projects of modification of the national migratory laws that are being carried out in the last years, besides using the "pull-push" theory to analyze the main motives of such groups of immigration for which they chose Seville as their destination. The research also takes Seville as a case study to study the traits, structures and community profiles of Chinese entrepreneurs and students in Seville, as well as to find out their difficulties in integrating into the local society. The paper fundamentally aims to reveal the status quo of Chinese immigrants in Andalusia between 2000 and 2020. In this regard, it focuses on the two Chinese collectives: Chinese entrepreneurs and Chinese students in Seville as case studies. The methods of the thesis highlight the literature and documentary analysis as well as a field research, in other words, using questionnaires, conducted on members of the Chinese community residing in Seville and Chinese students in the Seville university system.
