En esta Tesis Doctoral se presentan los resultados más relevantes obtenidos del estudio de reactividad llevado a cabo sobre sistemas [2.2.1]bicíclicos (7-heteronorbornanos y 7- heteronorbornadienos), así como su aplicación en bioconjugación de proteínas. Todos los estudios llevados a cabo con sistemas bicíclicos se han efectuado con mezclas racémicas, aunque por simplificar se representa solo uno de los enantiómeros.

The study of the reactivity of [2.2.1](hetero)bicyclic systems [(7-heteronorbornanes and 7- (hetero)norbornadienes)] and the use of this kind of molecules in the bioconjugation of proteins is presented in this Thesis. It should be pinted out that all studies with bicyclic systems have been carried out with racemic mixtures, although for simplicity in this thesis only one of the enantiomers is represented.
