• The integration of functional organic materials in electronic devices holds great promisefor current and future applications. Organic materials offer many advantages overtheir inorganic counterparts, such as high chemical tunability, low-temperature processing,and the prospect for low-cost, large-area manufacturing. In this thesis, solutionprocessablepolythiophene-based materials are investigated towards integration in spintronic,and low-voltage field-effect transistor (FET) devices.
