  • Resumen
    • In my THESiS diS-order, I confront the generation of a new architecture for the 21st century.

To achieve this, three simultaneous working lines are developed: Theoretical, graphical, and structural.

In the theoretical development, a conception of contemporary human being and world is presented used as basis for a new architecture, utilizing disorder as a way to search for new aesthetics. Fusion of antagonistic pairs of concepts such as simplicity and complexity, system and random order, order and chaos, generates architecture for the 21st century.

This theoretical research simultaneously generates another line of work, the graphical, geometric expression and architectural synthesis of theoretical ideas, architectural designs coherent with the vision of contemporary human being and world theoretically exposed.

For the physical realization of these architectures emerges a third line of work, which studies structural behavior by developing calculation and simulation models with software specifically designed for this purpose: To check structural stability.

The three working lines of knowledge conclude the feasibility study of a new architecture that embarks from its initial theoretical approach, through to its geometric synthesis, to reach structural checking. This is achieved through a system of thought based on disorder, a methodology that utilizes computerized design software to generate a new, 21st century architecture.
