NORMAS DE PUBLICACIóN
El Boletín Geológico Minero publicará trabajos originales en español e inglés relacionados con las Ciencias de la Tierra.
Textos
Extensión máxima de 20 páginas de formato DIN A4, con tamaño de letra 12 pt, y espaciado de 1,5, incluidas referencias e ilustraciones.
El título del artículo será breve e informativo de sus contenidos, y en especial deberá precisar el encuadre geográfico y geocronológico. Los originales en castellano deberán llevar el título también en inglés.
Los autores aparecerán con minúscula en el orden en que deseen ser citados. Primero las iniciales de sus nombres, seguidas del apellido. Se indicará el lugar de trabajo de cada uno de los autores, con la dirección postal completa y de correo electrónico.
Resumen en español e inglés, con una extensión mínima de 100 palabras y máxima de 250 palabras en cada idioma, y 5 palabras claves en ambos idiomas, por orden alfabético.
Los diferentes apartados del texto se titularán en mayúscula y negrita, sin numeración. Se recomienda incluir los apartados de INTRODUCCIÓN y CONCLUSIONES. El último apartado será el de REFERENCIAS.
Las ilustraciones originales (figuras, mapas, fotografías, etc.), tablas y cuadros, se prepararán para ocupar una o dos columnas (80 ó 170 mm). Se entregarán siempre aparte del texto, indicando en éste su posición. Los pies de las ilustraciones así como las explicaciones de las láminas fotográficas deberán ir también en inglés, en letra cursiva. Las ilustraciones se publicarán por regla general en blanco y negro aunque el Comité de Redacción estimará las propuestas de incluir figuras en color. Se sugiere la no utilización de tramas grises en las figuras de línea, que pueden ser sustituidas por tramas de puntos de distintas densidades.
En las referencias bibliográficas incluidas en el texto, se consignarán los apellidos completos que usen los autores en el trabajo correspondiente, en minúsculas, citándose éste en la bibliografía final de igual forma que en el texto. En el caso de tres o más autores se utilizará "et al." (en cursiva). Para las citas de un trabajo de dos autores, sus apellidos irán relacionados con la conjunción "y". Los nombres de las revistas deberán citarse completos, sin abreviaturas.

Se citará el autor o autores, año de la realización y ubicación de dicho trabajo.
f) Páginas web:
Se citará el título de la página, el autor o autores de la misma, organismo o institución editora y lugar de origen del servidor, fecha de acceso a la información y dirección electrónica tanto de la página como del directorio raíz, así como un correo electrónico de contacto. Remisión del manuscrito
Se enviará por triplicado (original más dos copias de buena calidad) a la dirección indicada al pie de esta página.
Formatos
Aceptado el trabajo, con las modificaciones propuestas (en su caso), se remitirá una copia en papel y otra en formato digital (disquete, cd, o correo electrónico).
Pruebas de imprenta
Al autor correspondiente, o primero de los firmantes, se le entregarán las pruebas del trabajo para su corrección. La misma atenderá únicamente a los errores de imprenta.
Separatas
De cada trabajo se entregarán 50 separatas gratis. Si algún autor desea un número mayor, deberá solicitarlo en el impreso remitido junto con la aceptación del trabajo.
INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS
The Boletín Geológico Minero will publish original manuscripts in Spanish or English dealing with Earth Sciences.
Texts
Maximum length 20 Din A4 pages, with font size 12 pt and printed with 1.5 spacing, including references and illustrations.
The title should be short and informative of the contents and should include the geographical and geochronological framework of the sudy. The names of the authors should be listed in the order they would like to be cited. First the initials of their names, then the surname. Authors affiliations, complete postal and e-mail addresses should be indicated.
A Spanish and English abstract with a minimum of 100 words and a maximum of 250 words in each language should also be included, as well as 5 key words in each language, in alpha-betic order.
The different sections of the text will be titled in unnumbered bold capitals. It is recommended to include the sections INTRODUCTION and CONCLUSIONS. The last section will be REFERENCES.
Original graphics (figures, maps and photographs, etc.), and tables should be prepared to take up one or two columns (80 or 170 mm). Should be handed separately of the text, indicating its position on the text. Graphics will be in general printed in black and white although the editors will consider proposals to include colour graphics.
Should the text refers to samples or data, these should be reflected in the corresponding maps, plans or schemes.
References in the text should be cited with the complete surnames used by the authors in the work, in small letters, and lis-ted at the end of the text similarly. Use et al. for more than three authors. References should be listed at the end of the text in alphabetical order of authors' names; journal and book titles should be written out, not abbreviated.

Submission of manuscript
Three copies (original and two copies of good quality) of the papers should be sent to the address included below.
Formats
If accepted, the papers, including the modifications suggested (if appropriate), a hardcopy (enclosing original figures) and a copy in standard diskette (3,5"), CD or electronic mail, will be sent by the authors.
Page proofs
One set of proofs will be sent to the corresponding author, to be checked for editing. The author is not expected to make changes or corrections that constitute departures from the article in its accepted form.
Reprints
Fifty reprints of each article are supplied free of charge. Additional reprints can be ordered on a reprint order form, which will be sent to the corresponding author upon receipt of the accepted article
