    Se trata de una reflexión a propósito de la lectura del ensayo de raíz metafísica que a mediados del siglo XX hizo el gran filósofo español Antonio Rodríguez Huéscar, discípulo privilegiado de José Ortega. Lo hizo un verano en su pueblo manchego de Fuenllana, en el antiguo y conocido Campo de Montiel, meditando sobre el hombre de aquella comarca, anclado en el pasado y sin esperanza en el futuro.

    This is a reflection on the reading of the essay with metaphysical features that the Spanish philosopher Antonio Rodríguez Huéscar, a privileged disciple of José Ortega, made in the middle of the 20th century. The writing was titled: “The Man of Montiel(The rebellion against time)”. He wrote it one summer in his La Mancha town of Fuenllana, formerly known as Campo de Montiel, meditating on the man of that region, anchored in the past and without hope in the future.
