    El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar las garantías procesales en tiempos de pandemia. Esta investigación documental se apoyó en un arqueo bibliográfico sobre la base de un análisis interpretativo. Se concluye que: Es imperativo y necesario profundizar una transformación digital del sistema de administración de justicia, orientada a garantizar el adecuado proceso a la justicia de todas las personas y, de conformidad con lo establecido en la Constitución de cada nación, de la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos (CIDH), de la Convención Americana de Derechos Humanos y del Pacto Internacional de Derechos Civiles y Políticos. En todo caso, también se trata de adaptar el proceso vigente para garantizar los procesos de justicia y dar respuesta a las exigencias de la sociedad de siglo XXI, a través de la utilización de las nuevas tecnologías y, de cara al futuro postpandemia, estar preparado para lo que se ha dado a denominar la nueva “normalidad”.

    The objective of this study was to analyze procedural guarantees in times of pandemic. This documentary research was supported by a bibliographic check on the basis of an interpretive analysis. It is concluded that: It is imperative and necessary to deepen a digital transformation of the justice administration system, aimed at guaranteeing the adequate process of justice for all people and, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of each nation, of the InterAmerican Court Human Rights (IACHR), the American Convention on Human Rights and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. In any case, it is also about adapting the current process to guarantee justice processes and respond to the demands of 21st century society, through the use of new technologies and, for the post-pandemic future, be prepared for what has been called the new “normal”.
