    La filosofía como disciplina permite vislumbrar nuestro devenir histórico como sociedad al abordar de manera sistémica y permanente una diversidad de temas de interés colectivo, pues su objeto es encontrar el origen de la existencia del ser humano y la vida en general, a través del u so del pensamiento reconociendo que no existe una verdad absoluta .

    A partir de lo planteado se desarrolló este articulo con el objetivo de abordar el papel de la filosofía para el estudio de la sociedad actual . El mismo responde metodológicamente a una inv estigación de tipo documental, descriptiva y de diseño bibliográfico. Finalmente, se puede expresar que pensamiento filosófico es fundamento y herramienta de gran importancia para repensar la sociedad, en los terminos de que esta sea más reflexiva y consciente de su herencia histórica, más resiliente y capaz de afrontar con optimismo, gallardía y planificación los diferentes retos que se le puedan presentar .

    Philosophy as a discipline allows us to glimpse our historical evolution as a society by addressing in a systemic and permanent way a diversity of issues of collective interest, since its purpose is to find the origin of the existence of human beings and l ife in general, through the use of thought, recognizing that there is no absolute truth. Based on the above, this article was developed with the aim of addressing the role of philosophy in the study of today's society. It responds methodologically to a doc umentary, descriptive and bibliographic design research. Finally, it can be expressed that philosophical thinking is a foundation and tool of great importance to rethink society, in terms of making it more reflective and aware of its historical heritage, m ore resilient and able to face with optimism, courage and planning the different challenges that may arise.
