    A pesar de que la ciencia política y la reflexión politológica tienden a asumir un tono neutro o un estilo aséptico (cuando no un descuido) respecto a cómo presentar un texto, la importancia del estilo en la escritura no es un tema menor o un mero asunto decorativo. Al contrario, corresponde más bien a una muestra de los intereses e indiferencias de la politología, de aquello que ésta quiere resaltar en consonancia con las ideas que sus integrantes profesan. ¿Por qué entonces sería importante reflexionar sobre el estilo en teoría y ciencia política? Es significativo porque en él encontramos una muestra de las tensiones, paradojas e intereses de la disciplina, porque hay implicancias en el estilo plano y falto de asombro, y frente a ello una concepción más receptiva, amplia e imaginativa encaminaría a una comprensión más acabada de los fenómenos políticos. En concordia con lo anterior es que la primera sección de estas notas se acercará al problema del estilo en teoría y ciencia política, a sus tensiones y lo que ellas profesan, y la manera en que lo hacen distinguiendo así su escritura de la de otras disciplinas cercanas. En el segundo apartado se reflexionará brevemente respecto a la importancia del estilo y a las repercusiones que se siguen de tomar conciencia o no de él. Finalmente, de acuerdo con la perspectiva filosófica de Martha Nussbaum, en el último apartado se argumentará que un estilo de teoría política receptivo a las humanidades impactaría profundamente en la ciencia política permitiendo un acercamiento a la pluralidad y complejidad del mundo que habitamos

    Although Political Science and political thought tend to assume a neutral tone or an aseptic style (if not an oversight) regarding how to present a text, the importance of style in writing is not a minor issue or a decorative matter. On the contrary, it corresponds rather to a sample of the interests and indifferences of political science, of what it wants to highlight in line with the ideas that its members profess. Why then would it be important to reflect on style in Political cience and Theory? It is significant because in it we find a sample of the tensions, paradoxes and interests of the discipline, because there are implications in the flat style and lack of amazement and against this a more receptive, broad and imaginative conception would lead to a more complete understanding of political phenomena. In accordance with the above stated, the first section of these notes will approach the problem of style in Political Theory and Science, their tensions and what they profess, and the way they do it, thus distinguishing their writing from that of other disciplines. In the second section, we will briefly reflect on the importance of style and the repercussions that follow from becoming aware of it or not. Finally, according to the philosophical perspective of Martha Nussbaum, in the last section it will be argued that a different style of Political Theory (one receptive to the humanities) would have a profound impact on Political Science, allowing an approach to the plurality and complexity of the world we inhabit
