Estilos de linguagem no caderno esportivo de dois jornais do Rio Grande do Sul

    Considerando-se a importância da mídia nos esportes, permitindo a construção de relações entre atletas, clubes, torcedores e leitores, entendemos que o caderno esportivo pode, além de trazer informações, também mudar a forma como entregam as notícias. Apresentamos como objetivo comparar as diferenças no estilo de linguagem entre o jornal da capital do Rio Grande do Sul, Zero Hora, e o do interior, A Tribuna regional, bem como se elas se mantiveram após mais de uma década. Esta pesquisa é de caráter bibliográfico, com análise qualitativa fundamentada nos estudos de Puzzo (2015), Calvacanti and Capraro (2014), entre outros. Por meio dos resultados obtidos, podemos concluir que as reportagens e notícias, não apenas informativas, mas também descritivas, revelam diferenças significativas no estilo de linguagem adotada, demonstrando variação diafásica no âmbito da escrita.

    Given the importance of media in sports in building relationships between athletes, clubs, fans, and readers, we recognise that sports websites can not only inform, but also change the way news is delivered. The objective is to compare the differences in linguistic style between the Zero Hora newspaper in the capital of the state of Rio Grande do Sul and the regional newspaper A Tribuna in the interior of the state, and to determine if they still exist after more than a decade. This is a bibliographic study with a qualitative analysis based on studies by Puzzo (2015), Calvacanti and Capraro (2014), among others. Based on the results, we can conclude that the reports and news, which are not only informative but also descriptive, show significant differences in linguistic style and show a diaphasic variation in the writing context.
