“Fantasma de un fantasma”: Juan Luis Panero y Luis Cernuda entre espejos y fotografías

    El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la huella indeleble que Luis Cernuda deja en la obra de Juan Luis Panero tanto en relación con el enigma del tiempo, cuanto en relación con la presencia de las imágenes que permiten rescatar el pasado en la poesía de ambos. Como el mismo Panero afirma en Luis Cernuda(su poema homenaje al autor de La realidad y el deseo), los dos se conciben como “fantasma de un fantasma”. La poesía es el lugar en el que ambos fantasmas pueden seguir dialogando y mirando más allá de la muerte, entre espejos y fotografías.

    The objective of this article is to analyze the indelible mark that Luis Cernuda leaves in the work of Juan Luis Panero, both in relation to the enigma of time, and in relation to the presence of images that allow us to rescue the past in the poetry of both. As Panero himself states in Luis Cernuda(his tribute poem to the author of La realidad y el deseo), the two conceive of each other as a “ghost of a ghost”. Poetry is the place where both ghosts can continue talking and looking beyond death, between mirrors and photographs.
