    Se plantea como objetivo general analizar jurídicamente el abuso de autoridad de agentes municipales a vendedores informales. El planteamiento realizado por los investigadores para el desarrollo de la metodología, fue a partir del paradigma positivista, con enfoque cuantitativo, mediante la indagación, recolección y análisis crítico documental y referencial bibliográfico, basándose en la exploración metódica, rigurosa y profunda de diversas fuentes documentales conformadas por artículos, normas y leyes entre otros, describiendo los hallazgos encontrados. Se recurrió, además, al método inductivo-deductivo. La utilización de estos métodos hizo posible que se analice doctrina, cuerpos normativos, documentos jurídicos, bibliografía. Se concluye que, la policía municipal como autoridad encargada de velar por la seguridad de los ciudadanos debe usar las maneras legales establecidas en la constitución para controlar la actividad ambulante dentro de la ciudad y no abusar de su autoridad ya que es inhumano ver las actuaciones que tienen estas autoridades al efectuar la persecución.

    The general objective is to legally analyze the abuse of authority of municipal agents to informal vendors. The approach taken by the researchers for the development of the methodology was based on the positivist paradigm, with a quantitative approach, through research, collection and critical analysis of documents and bibliographic references, based on the methodical, rigorous and in-depth exploration of various documentary sources made up of articles, regulations and laws, among others, describing the findings. The inductive-deductive method was also used. The use of these methods made it possible to analyze doctrine, normative bodies, legal documents and bibliography. It is concluded that, the municipal police as the authority in charge of watching over the security of the citizens should use the legal ways established in the constitution to control the ambulant activity within the city and not abuse their authority since it is inhuman to see the actions that these authorities have when carrying out the persecution.
