    Objetivo. Analiza el estado de desarrollo económico del municipio de Cunduacán con la finalidad de generar alternativas de oportunidades para los jóvenes.

    Metodología. El estudio tiene un enfoque cualitativo, emplea una técnica de recolección de datos de carácter documental del desarrollo en Cunduacán. Esta investigación contribuye al marco teórico sobre el desarrollo municipal.

    Conclusiones. se necesita de una coordinación entre el gobierno, la sociedad, las empresas y la universidad para atender las dificultades que encuentran los pobladores del municipio como la inversión en infraestructura y el acceso al internet. Este último permitirá acceder a más oportunidades laborales como Marketing de Contenidos y Redes Sociales, Inteligencia Artificial, Impresión 3D, Realidad Virtual, Big Data, Dispositivos a través de la Voz, Robotización, automatización y transformación digital de empresas, Comercio Electrónico y Ocio Digital.

    Purpose. Analyze the state of economic development of the municipality of Cunduacán in order to generate alternative opportunities for young people.

    Methodology. A cross-sectional methodology with secondary data was used.

    Findings. The results show that, although the municipality has a high HDI, it faces unemployment, so the implementation of the PILARES programs and the strategies to promote social entrepreneurship for young people are some alternatives to promote development in Cunduacán. This research contributes to the theoretical framework on municipal development.

    Conclusions. The foregoing allows us to recommend that coordination between the government, society, companies, and the university is needed to address the difficulties encountered by the inhabitants of the municipality such as poverty, investment in infrastructure, the inclusion of women in the workplace, and job creation. The latter will allow access to more job opportunities such as Content Marketing and Social Networks, Artificial Intelligence, 3D Printing, Virtual Reality, Big Data, Devices through the Voice, Robotization, automation and digital transformation of companies, Electronic Commerce, and Digital Leisure.
