This paper analyzes the discourse of one of the young men involved in the 17A attacks from a linguistic perspective through the linguistic-pragmatic models put forward in Brown and Fraser (1979) and Fuentes Rodríguez (200). It aims to determine whether his participation in three recordings was planned and carried out under duress, like he testified in court. The discursive and linguistic features identified correspond to those of an unplanned, informal and casual conversation among friends or acquaintances.
