The present work studies the efficiency of an anaerobic tubular biodigester at pilot scale in the Guacavía Agricultural Educational Institution, through a completely random 3x2 experimental design. Six treatments were performed; corresponding to the combinations of the hydraulic retention times of 5 and 8 days and the manure - wash water ratios of 1:10, 1: 7 and 1: 4 with three treatment replicas to show the relationships between them. The evaluation was performed using the following physicochemical parameters: pH, temperature, conductivity, BOD, COD, SST, SSV and Ssed. The results obtained in organic matter removal terms showed that the most efficient HRT is that of 8 days for the 1: 7 ratio, obtaining removal percentages of 84.95% for BOD, 88.74% for COD, 84.48% for Ssed, 81.04% for SST, and 86.5% for SSV. Added to this, statistically significant differences were found between the results obtained from the HRT and the relationships, for the parameters BOD and COD, and SST and SSV.
