    Sebbene la poesia di Rafael Alberti, in Italia, abbia conosciuto un periodo di buona diffusione a cavallo tra gli anni ’60 e ’70 – quando trascorre la seconda fase del suo esilio a Roma –, in seguito al rientro in patria l’attenzione verso la sua produzione lirica è andata gradualmente scemando. Il presente studio, attraverso un excursus sull’effettiva circolazione dei testi dell’autore pubblicati entro i confini sino ad oggi, prova, da un lato, a mettere a fuoco lo “stato” relativo alla divulgazione dei suoi libri; dall’altro, ad analizzarne il peso specifico sul nostro sistema culturale, ragionando sulla prassi traduttologica che ne ha veicolato la diffusione.

    Although Rafael Alberti’s poetry knew a period of good spread in Italy between the 60s and 70s – when he spent the second phase of his exile in Rome –, the attention towards his lyrical production gradually decreased after his return to Spain. Hence, the aim of this paper is to focus on the "state of the art" relating to the dissemination of his books through an excursus on the actual circulation of the author’s texts published in Italy up to now and, on the other hand, to analyse its specific weight on our cultural system, reflecting on the translation practice that led to its spread.
