  La conocida como ley de contratos de aprovechamiento por turnos en su día constituyó el final del intento regulatorio desde la Unión Europea para poner fin a una práctica abusiva en el seno de los contratos vacacionales. Mediante agresivas campañas de promoción se había intentado captar la voluntad de los posibles adquirentes. La contundente respuesta del legislador español legislando más allá del contenido mínimo de las directivas europeas junto con la jurisprudencia han puesto freno a aquellos abusos.

  The so-called law of contracts on time share accomodation constituted the end of the regulatory attempt from the European Union to put an end to an abusive practice within the holiday contracts. Through aggressive promotional campaigns, an attempt had been made to capture the will of potential purchasers. The forceful response of the Spanish legislator, legislating beyond the minimum content of the European directives, together with the jurisprudence, have put a stop to those abuses.
