    Se presenta la primera entrega de un trabajo faunístico sobre los Carabidae (Coleoptera) del valle de Lemos (Lugo, N.O. de la Península ibérica). Se describe el área estudiada y se aportan datos bibliográficos, faunísticos y corológicos de 16 especies pertenecientes a las subfamilias Nebriinae, Carabinae, Cicindelinae y Scaritinae.

    The first part of a faunistic work on the Carabidae (Coleoptera) of the Lemos valley (Lugo, NW of the Iberian Peninsula) is presented. The studied area is described and bibliographic, faunistic and chorological data of 16 species belonging to the subfamilies Nebriinae, Carabinae, Cicindelinae and Scaritinae are provided.
