    el artículo indaga en las relaciones entre las organizaciones mapuche y la dictadura militar y cómo estas se articularon en una disputa por la identidad, a través del uso de la categoría de “raza”. Se analiza el proyecto de nación e identidad nacional que el régimen militar quiso construir, con una idea de “raza chilena” en mente y el influjo de las políticas neoliberales este. A su vez, se estudian momentos de esta relación en la Contrarreforma Agraria y el decreto de ley 2.568, que pretendió eliminar legalmente a los indígenas. En este punto, se estudian las acciones de las organizaciones en contra del régimen (Centros Culturales Mapuche, luego Ad Mapu) frente a esta política etnocida y colonial, así como también la organización a favor de este (Consejo Regional mapuche) que promovió la aplicación de la ley, poniendo atención a las disputas establecidas entre las organizaciones y el Estado, así como a los vínculos internacionales que surgieron en el proceso.

    The article investigates the relations between the Mapuche organizations and the military dictatorship and how these were articulated in a dispute over identity through the use of the category of “race”. The project of nation and national identity that the military regime wanted to build is analyzed, with an idea of “Chilean race” in mind and the influence of neoliberal policies on it. In turn, moments of this relationship are studied in the Agrarian Counter-Reformation and Law Decree 2,568, which sought to legally eliminate the indigenous peoples. At this point, the actions of the organizations against the regime (Centros Culturales Mapuche, then Ad Mapu) in the face of this ethnocidal and colonial policy are studied, as well as the organization in favor of it (Consejo Regional Mapuche) which promoted the application of the law, paying attention to the disputes established between the organizations and the State, as well as the international ties that emerged in the process.
