    En el moderno derecho al olvido es posible ver varias dimensiones distintas. Seguramente, las más conocidas son las que están vinculadas al uso de Internet y al acceso a las noticias digitalizadas en los archivos web. Pero hay otra una vertiente, que nada tiene que ver con el nuevo entorno digital y tecnológico, y que es fuente asimismo de abundantes controversias. Es la que está comprometida en la decisión de la prensa escrita de volver a publicar una noticia que ya publicó en el pasado y que traslada al presente la imagen negativa de su protagonista. Este trabajo, sirviéndose de la jurisprudencia italiana, mucho más familiarizada con esta otra dimensión del derecho al olvido, repasa su contenido y sus requisitos y límites, y nota sus debilidades.

    In the modern right to be forgotten it is possible to see several different dimensions. Surely, the best known are those that are linked to the use of the Internet and access to the digitized news in the web files. But there is another aspect, which has nothing to do with the new digital and technological environment, and which is also the source of abundant controversies. It is the one that is committed to the decision of the press to republish a news that it has already published in the past and that translates to the present the negative image of its protagonist. This work, using Italian case-law, much more familiar with this other dimension of the right to be forgotten, reviews its content and its requirements and limits, and notices his weaknesses.
