    El presente artículo tiene como objetivo introducir algunas ideas sobre la naturaleza del Tribunal Constitucional en general, y del rol del juez constitucional en particular. En ese sentido, se resalta la labor del Tribunal Constitucional peruano como garante de los derechos fundamentales y la separación de poderes dentro de todo Estado constitucional que se precie de serlo.

    This paper aims to introduce some ideas regarding the Constitutional Court nature in general and the role of the constitutional judge in particular. In that sense, the Peruvian Constitutional Court work is acknowledged as a guarantor of the fundamental rights and the separation of powers within a Constitutional State as such.
