    El derecho a la protección de datos personales tanto en el ámbito constitucional como legislativo resulta inexistente en el contexto cubano; sin embargo, es atinado analizar diversas normativas vigentes en Cuba, teniendo en cuenta los contenidos que en estas se abordan al constituir pautas interpretativas importantes que evidencian la protección de la información desde una perspectiva general y, por tanto, la desprotección manifiesta del titular de los datos de carácter personal. Elpresente artículo se propone, a partir de los antecedentes históricos que en el orden normativo se han presentado en diversos contextos, analizar los principios rectores que se requieren definir para la configuración de este derecho y su necesario reconocimiento en Cuba.

    The right to personal protection data both in the constitutional and legislative scope are non-existent in the Cuban context; However, it is wise to analyze various current regulations in Cuba, taking into account the contents that are addressed in constituting important interpretative guidelines that provide evidence to the protection of information from a general perspective and, therefore, it becomes evident lack of protection to personal information and personal data. The purpose of this article is to check the historical background that in the normative order have been presented in diverse contexts, to then analyze the guiding principles that are needed to define the configuration the need of recognition of the personal information right in Cuba.
