    Martín de Vizcay publicó en 1621 un libro reivindicando el derecho de naturaleza en Castilla y Alta Navarra de los naturales de Ultrapuertos. Resulta un texto de interés para los historiadores por los argumentos históricos y jurídicos que utiliza, así como por su componente heráldico. Se conocen dos ediciones antiguas y un extracto traducido al francés, así como unas pocas copias manuscritas fragmentarias. Se examina la obra desde la perspectiva del libro impreso antiguo, como un producto tipográfico y editorial. Es un ejercicio de bibliografía material e historia bibliográfica que revela las irregularidades e incidencias de su primera edición, y pone de manifiesto el carácter ilícito de la segunda. Los intentos de reedición y las alusiones a la obra que se suceden en las últimas décadas del siglo XVIII dan una idea de su validez hasta el final del Antiguo Régimen.

    Martín de Vizcay, neighbouring of Low Navarre, published in 1621 a book claiming the right of nature in Castilla and High Navarre of the natives of Ultrapuertos.

    It is a text of interest to historians because of the historical and legal arguments that it uses, as well as for its heraldic component. Two ancient editions and an extract translated into french are known, as well as a few fragmentary manuscript copies. The work is examined from the perspective of the old printed book, as a typographic and editorial product. It is an exercise of material bibliography and bibliographic history that reveals the irregularities and incidents of its first edition, and uncovers the illicit nature of the second. The attempts of reissued and the allusions to the work that happen in the last decades of the XVIII century give an idea of its validity until the end of the Ancient Regime.

    Martin de Vizcay baxenabarrak 1621ean argitaratu zuen liburuan naturako Gaztelan eta Nafarroa Garaian eskubidea aldarrikatu zuen Bortuz beste aldeko jatorrizko biztanleentzat. Adierazten diren argudio historikoak eta juridikoak;

    halaber, biltzen dituen osagai heraldiko direla eta, idatzi hau interesgarria da historialarientzat.
