Las transformaciones y la (re) estructuración del carnaval de São Luiz do Paraitinga, en Brasil, apués 2010

    La investigación científica se propone a problematizar el papel del turismo em la reorganización del espacio en São Luiz do Paraitinga, utilizando como objeto de estudio su Carnaval de Marchinhas. La justificación es debida la preocupación causada por la sensación de pierda del atractivo turístico que el patrimonio cultural inmaterial local representa para la ciudad después de la inundación del Rio Paraitinga en 2010. El objetivo principal es comprender los principales impactos y transformaciones generados por este fenómeno hidrológico y climático en la celebración y organización del Carnaval luizense, llevando en consideración su reestructuración, a través de un estudio de caso exploratorio. Los resultados verificados apuntan que la patrimonialización de los elementos materiales que forman la identidad colectiva local, juntamente con los componentes inmateriales, fue un de los principales factores que permitirán el desarrollo de la actividad turística en el municipio. Todavía, el desarrollo turístico en la ciudad corroboró para que el patrimonio cultural pasase por un fuerte proceso de transformaciones y descaracterización. Así, se puede generar la reflexión sobre la real eficacia de los procesos de protección y registro, una vez que la exploración de estés bienes está dominado por el mercado turístico en el actual sistema capitalista. En este contexto, se percebe la necesidad de la planificación estratégica de interpretación del patrimonio y educación patrimonial para la comunidad local y los visitantes para preservar los remanentes históricos del municipio.

    The scientific investigation proposes to discuss the paper of tourism in the reorganization of the space in São Luiz do Paraitinga, using as object of study its Carnaval de Marchinhas. The justification is the concern cause by the sensation of lost of touristic attractiveness that immaterial cultural heritage represents to the city after the flood of Paraitinga River, in 2010. The main objective is to understand the biggest impacts and transformations generate through this hydrologic and climatic phenomenon in the celebration and organization of São Luiz’s Carnaval, considering its restructuration, in an exploratory case study. The checked results show that the patrimonial sing of the material elements that build the collective local identity, with the immaterial components, was one of the main factors that allowed the development of touristic activity in the city. However, this development has helped the strong process of transformation and disfigurement of the cultural heritage. Thus, it could be possible to generate the reflection about the real effectiveness of the protection processes, once that the exploration of this goods is dominated for the touristic Market in the current capitalist system. In this context, it is possible to notice the need of the strategic planes about the interpretation and education of the heritage for the local community and visitors in order to preserve the historical remainders of the city.
