    El presente artículo tiene por objeto realizar una breve reseña sobre el uso del plomo a lo largo de la historia y sus diferentes afecciones al ser humano a través del envenenamiento por cuatro posibles vías: ingesta, inhalación, absorción cutánea y lesión traumática. De igual modo se observarán sus consecuencias tanto a nivel orgánico como a nivel osteológico, siendo evaluado a través de la visión de dos disciplinas forenses: la química y la antropología.

    This article aims to make a brief review of the use of lead throughout history and its different results to the human body through poisoning from four possible ways: ingestion, inhalation, skin absorption and traumatic injury. Likewise, its the consequences on both organical and osteological level are going to be evaluated through the points of view of two forensic disciplines: chemistry and anthropology.
