    El objeto del presente trabajo es el de resaltar los deberes ético-profesionales que todo comunicador debe respetar, así como el de analizar los derechos con los que, en el desarrollo de su profesión, todo informador cuenta.

    Para ello, hemos recurrido al estudio de los derechos contenidos en la Constitución Española que pueden afectar tanto al periodista como a terceros que tengan relación con los hechos noticiables. Nos referimos, entre otros, al derecho a la libertad de información y a los derechos al honor, intimidad personal y propia imagen.

    Además, hemos confrontado estos derechos mediante el examen de diferentes resoluciones de los tribunales de nuestro país, España.

    The aim of the this contribution is to highlight the ethico-professional duties of the journalists, as well as to analyze their rights. For this reason, we have gone into the rights enshrined in the Spanish Constitution so much of the journalist as of third persons who involved in the events dealt with by the media. Specifically, we have gone into the following constitutionally protected rights: the right to freedom of information and the right to one´s honour, to one´s personal and family privacy and to one's own image.
