Valencia: Capilla del Santo Cáliz. Destino de peregrinos de la ruta europea del Santo Grial

    Quienes comenzaron en el siglo XI a recorrer Europa en busca de perdón, no sabían que iban a perpetuar por siglos una nueva forma de concebir el acto de viajar. Desde entonces ha habido muchas y diferentes motivaciones para hacer viajes. Sin embargo, hoy podemos concluir que esas primitivas motivaciones religiosas, fueron las que posicionaron destinos que hoy son visitados por miles de personas que centran su atención en aprender y experimentar la cultura religiosa. Hoy hablamos de un turismo de peregrinación que, sin embargo no puede ser desligado del Turismo Cultural. En esta fina frontera entre lo religioso y lo histórico, queremos exponer la investigación realizada entre Valencia y Zaragoza sobre las posibilidades de crear una ruta hasta la propia Capilla del Santo Cáliz en la Catedral de Valencia. Cómo puede abordarse la creación de un equipo de investigación sobre un producto turístico cultural y religioso, cómo se está llevando a cabo la implantación de la Ruta Europea del Santo Grial desde Aragón y por qué es necesario desarrollarla en equipos multidisciplinares. En un primer momento proponemos una metodología de estudio del Turismo Cultural y del Turismo Religioso, a partir de las disciplinas desde donde tradicionalmente se centra su gestión extraídas del Tesauro UNESCO. En donde se nos plantea una serie de posibilidades a la hora de gestionar proyectos turísticos de carácter religioso. La segunda parte se centra en el trabajo que ha realizado el grupo de investigación sobre la Ruta del Santo Grial en la Universidad de Zaragoza. En donde se desarrolla el proceso seguido desde sus inicios hasta la consecución de los objetivos que actualmente ya se han conseguido. Por último, un apartado de conclusiones, sirve como punto de reflexión a la complejidad que supone el establecimiento de rutas de peregrinación hasta la ciudad de Valencia con la finalidad de conocer el Santo Grial que se custodia en la Catedral.

    Those who began in the 11th century to tour Europe in search of forgiveness, did not know they were going to perpetuate a new way of conceiving the Act of travelers for centuries. Since then, there have been many and different motivations for travel. However, today we can conclude that these primitive religious motivations were that positioned destinations that are now visited by thousands of people who are focused on learning and experience the religious culture. Today we talk about a tourist pilgrimage which, however cannot be separated from cultural tourism. This thin border between the religious and the historic, we want to expose the research undertaken between Valencia and Zaragoza on the possibilities of creating a route to the own chapel of Santo Cáliz in Valencia Cathedral. How can address the creation of a team of investigation into a cultural and religious tourism product, how is taking out the implementation of the route to the Holy Grail from Aragon and is it necessary to develop it in multidisciplinary teams. At first, we propose a methodology of study of cultural tourism and religious tourism, from the disciplines from which traditional management focuses extracted from the UNESCO Thesaurus. Where is raises a number of possibilities in managing tourism projects of a religious nature. The second part focuses on the work carried out on the route to the Holy Grail research group at the University of Zaragoza. Where is developed the process followed since its inception until the achievement of the objectives that currently have been already achieved. Finally, a section of conclusions, serves as a point of reflection to the complexity involved in the establishment of routes of pilgrimage to the city of Valencia with the purpose of knowing the Holy Grail that is kept in the Cathedral.
