O liberalismo de John Rawls e a necessidade do reconhecimento

    This article aimed to discuss the most important points showed by the justice liberal theory, highlighting the theoretical John Rawls, contrasting with the propositions of the new researches that seek to extrapolate the distributive paradigm workers by liberalism. For this, the Axel Honneth’s recognition theory was used in to indicate the needing of being aware of essential justice issues that the distributive liberalism doesn’t include in its proposals.

    O presente trabalho objetivou discutir os principais pontos apresentados pela teoria liberal da justiça, com especial destaque para o teórico John Rawls, em contraste com as proposições feitas por novos autores que buscam extrapolar o paradigma distributivo enfocado pelo liberalismo. Para tanto, lançou-se mão da teoria do reconhecimento, de Axel Honneth, para indicar a necessidade de estar-se atento a questões essenciais à justiça que o liberalismo distributivista não abarca em suas proposições.
