    El presente artículo analiza a la Audiencia de Lima y a sus ministros durante la rebelión de Gonzalo Pizarro en el virreinato del Perú (1544-1548). A partir del estudio prosopográfico, se reconstruye la vida privada y la actuación profesional de los oidores del tribunal de justicia. La intención del trabajo es rescatar la participación individual y colectiva de dichos ministros en uno de los momentos más álgidos y convulsionados que ocurrieron durante el temprano siglo XVI en los Andes Meridionales. Se pone al descubierto, por tanto, la injerencia de los letrados en el conflicto armado contra las autoridades del rey, siendo los oidores parte fundamental del levantamiento pizarrista. El rol judicial del tribunal se complementó con una fuerte participación política y militar a lo largo de los años que duró la sedición.

    The aim of this article is to analyze the Audiencia of Lima and its ministers during the rebellion of Gonzalo Pizarro in the Viceroyalty of Peru (1544-1548). Considering the prosopographical study, the private life and professional performance of the court's judges is reconstructed. The intention of this work is to rescue the individual and collective participation of these ministers in one of the most critical moments and seizures occurring during the early sixteenth century in the southern Andes. It reveals, therefore, the interference of the lawyers in the armed conflict with the authorities of the king, being the hearers a fundamental part of Pizzarro's uprising. The court's judicial role was complemented by a strong military and political involvement over the years of sedition.
